Summer is just around the corner in the northern hemisphere and it is time to start making cold treats. That's why Homemade challenges you this month to make your own ice cream. Ice cream is one of the most delicious summer treats and we want you to get creative this month. You don't need an ice cream machine to make ice cream. There are a lot of recipes for ice cream, gelatos and other cold treats that you could make even if you don't have an ice cream machine. I will be posting some of the during the course of this month. Please remember the simple rules for this event:

  • If you are a blogger: Make any delicious frozen treat at home, take pictures of it and blog about it. Include a link to THIS topic on your post. Leave the permalink to that post in THIS topic and I'll include it in the roundup in July.
  • If you are not a blogger: Follow the steps above, but leave your pictures and recipes in this topic.
  • The deadline is July 31st.

That's it! Have fun making and sharing your ice cream recipes.

Hey guys these are some delicious entries! I love ice cream and I really don't care if I gain weight for eating too much of it. Check out jswching's post on how to make ice cream without an ice cream machine Smiley

Made it & just blogged about it Ben. Was a bit unsure as there is a Ning place as well. Is this where I post the link?

I've made a mango-peach low fat ice-cream. I don't own an ice-cream machine, so it's hand made & delicious!
Love this event!!
