I am not a professional photographer, but ever since I was a kid I’ve been intrigued by photography. I took a couple of photography courses in high school and I’ve been teaching myself the techniques of the profession. Food photography is a new side of photography for me, but I’ve fallen in love with it. Creating delicious food and capturing it through the lens of a camera is art, the most delicious one out there, I should say. Here on this blog I share my adventures in food photography (and other kinds of photography, too) and what I’ve learned about it.
For my photography I use a Canon D60. It is a midrange DSLR that first came out in 2002. Even though it is an older model and doesn’t have all the features of newer models, it is a very reliable piece of equipment. Most of my pictures are taken with a 50mm f/1.8 prime lense. It has been one of the best discoveries of this adventure.
Here’s the list of the posts I’ve published on the topic. This list will be continually updated as I publish new posts and topics:

Thanks for compiling all of these links to your posts in one place. I plan on returning – later today – and learning from these. I do some food blogging and although I just got a macro lens, I'm still struggling with my food pics. Can't wait to pick your brain!

Two of my passions combined! I love anything food (that's healthy) and if I were a photographer, food would be my subject. Thanks for posting your tips!

Ben,
Have you ever used a point and shoot camera, and if you did which one?

I still have a Canon PowerShot A540. It's a nice little camera and it did a great job before I got my dslr.
