It might seem that I have a lot of free time in my hands (well, sometimes I do) because I belong to several groups, communities, forums and other online points of reunion for foodies. I am new to all these social networks. I avoided them for a long time because I am not a very social person (I am an ogre, if you hadn’t noticed), but there are so many good communities out there that I couldn’t resist staying out of the loop.
Today I want to invite you to join a new community. This is the Great Cooks Community that is administered by my good friend Jill and her husband Charles. Why am I inviting people to join? Because it is awesome. Jill put it this way:
It’s pretty much like Facebook, but it’s for food lovers only.
The community has so many great features like creating and joining groups, forums, picture and video sharing, friend networking and so many more that make it awesome. It has been running for less than a month and close to on hundred new members have already joined. I started a Mexican food group where we discuss ingredients, dishes, and just about anything related to Mexican food. If you love food and food talk, I am sure you are going to love this community, too.
