Hug my RSS, please

The last several days I have been very sick. I think I got that nasty string of flu that is going around here in Ohio. I read in the newspaper that it was an epidemic. So that’s why I haven’t cooked anything. Jon attempted to make some soup last night, but it ended up being something like a rice and chicken pudding. At least he tried, right?

Anyway, during the few moments I haven’t felt like a bus just ran me over I have been trying to give this blog more exposure. That’s how I came across this site called rssHugger. What is rssHugger? The home page says:

rssHugger is a new website developed to help bloggers promote their blogs, and to help visitors discover new blogs that write about subjects that the readers are interested in. Through the power of the internet and viral marketing, rssHugger looks to bring blog writers and blog readers closer together.

So basically rssHugger is a site that aims to bring blog writers and blog readers together using the power of RSS (Real Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary) You create a page within rssHugger where other users will see it and, if they find it interesting, subscribe to it.

I have already signed up. The concept sounds really cool and easy. And the best part is that it is free. All you have to do to join is write a review about the service (if you don’t want to write a review there is a $20 fee for 10 years, still a pretty good deal) If these reviews bring 100 people to rssHugger and 10% of those 100 sign up and do the same, the numbers of readers joining the service increases exponentially, which potentially represent more readers for your blog.

So join now and watch your number of visitors and RSS subscribers grow! Pretty cool deal, isn’t it?
