I am neither a professional chef nor part of the food industry. However, I love cooking and want to share that passion with the world on this space. Food was a very important part of my life while growing up. My family owned a small restaurant in Mexico City for about 40 years and I have inherited some of the recipes used by my grandma and then by my mom. With that and some experimenting from my part I sometimes come up with great recipes that I think are worth repeating.

I specialized, of course, in Mexican food. In spite of popular believe, Mexican food is a lot more than tacos and burritos. Mexican cuisine has a great array of delicious dishes and I have made my goal in life to unveil some of those flavors.

This blog, however, won’t be all about Mexican food. I want to share my thoughts and experiences in the kitchen while I try new ingredients, combinations and recipes. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I will surely enjoy writing it.

    Ohhh my God!! I will try to leave my comment in english even when is not my own lenguage and I do speak it very bad :(
